POC21 is an innovation camp for open-source sustainability taking place at Chateau de Millemont (Paris) in 2015. 100+ makers, designers, engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and geeks join forces to prototype the collaborative, circular economy. During five weeks of co-living and co-making in a stunning French castle, they´ll build the tools we need for the world we want.
POC21 is also a Commons Transition Partner Project and we’ll be showcasing the results of the camp during the next few months. Until then, here’s a video taster of what’s to come.
BEST WISHES!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!
I hope the organizers are familiar with Buckminster Fuller’s work. He taught tirelessly about how an economic system based on a belief in scarcity of resources and that supports the resulting war-making (you or me) mindset was obsolete. When you realize there can be enough for everyone, war-making becomes a laughably embarrassing, anachronistic activity that needs to be treated as such.

In qetema.org a group of people who believe in the need for major global changes gather to design and build a new city together. This city will run on a completely sustainable system and is governed by its people. How can one of us get into this castle since it would be extremely helpful for us to do this ?
Best,
Pooya
